Obsessed

Help! I've become obsessed with the design of my blog. Or more accurately I've become obsessed with photoshop. What does everyone think of the new look? Have I gone over the top?

Ah, and before I forget, if you were on my blogroll before and aren't now, let me know and I'll re-add you. I lost my widgets from the previous template and I think most of you are there, but perhaps not all of you - I had to do it from memory mostly!

Looks fantastic. The header is really large though. The extra black space a the top could be removed and the snippets of my life could be attend to the black part of the header and make it all a little smaller so we can see your great content faster. That is what we are here for to read those awesome snippets. But very cool design overall.

Thanks for the feedback Drew! I shall see what I can do with the header, I agree with you it's quite large, perhaps too large, and I'm still not sure about the 'snippets of my life' part at all but I spent so long cutting and pasting and colouring those damn little letters that I feel I have to use it now hehe!!

I think it's pretty, you're such a computer buff these days! I don't even know what a widget is! Lol, anyway, text me or bebo me and let me know how you are and what you've been up to, I've still not heard about you're France visit! x x x

I've been enjoying the design work you've been doing and I thought I mentioned it... maybe I just meant to mention it. Toronto is making me forgetful.

Wouldn't it be egotistical for people to be like "I'm not in your blog roll" or "You need to have the name of my blog be something else on your blog roll." Sheesh, those jerks.

I ken Zannie, I'm a total computer geek now! Except normally geeks are quite clever and good at what they do...I'm still learning :-s I'll be in touch over the next few days pet, but things have been a bit euch the past wee bit. I'll tell you about it later, after Thursday (that's my graduation ceremony - booooo)

TD you are hilarious! "sheesh those jerks"! Is it a hint to say that you want me to change the name of the link to your blog? Should I call it 'Initial Draft'? And did I miss something? What are you doing in Toronto?

Guess what...

I've been there!

It's nice. I liked it.

Great new look and your personal touch does give it extra points for originality! Personally I prefer headers to be a bit slimmer but I am really undecided on yours since it has a pretty unique design.

Oh what can I say you had me at 'new blog design' LOL!

Later girl!

Are you inviting me to be an egotistical jerk??? Hahaha. I'm just glad to be ON your blog roll, Princess. You list me on there however you like.

Toronto is amazing!! When were you here? I'm here on business all week so I have to work most of every day. Blah. I even asked Zhu for some cool tips on stuff to see and do. Mostly I've just been sitting in this pub across the street from my hotel (that I'm sitting in right now, coincidentally) and drinking a pint of Canadian beer at a time. I wish I had more money to spend!

Maybe tomorrow I'll do something fun like see the sights but for now I'm writing more in my novel. I just consumed some fish-and-chips and I'm on my second pint so the writing is bound to dwindle.

Ah come on, we're all egotistical jerks a wee bit aren't we? It's allowed!

DP ah go on, admit it, you love my new blog layout!!!

Despi!!! c toi qui est sexy! oh la la!

TD I have cousins who live in Jasper which I think is near Toronto (or perhaps in?!!) so we went on holiday there when I was about 8, spent about a month staying in Toronto and Jasper and other places with the family who live out there, and man it was brilliant! I saw a bear!!!!!! And we went to the biggest shopping mall in the world and it was so cool, it had an entire amusement park INSIDE!!! Madness. FP really wants to go to canada, I think in a few years when we can afford it we'll be going back.

Thanks Zhu! And I can't wait to do that meme - so girly!!

Tom you egotistical jerk! (only kidding!) I do apologise for having your blog title wrong on the last blogroll - what did I have? 80's colour scheme? Yassssss! Reminds me of Fame.

FAME! I'm gonna live foreverrrrrrrr

You're either an egotistical jerk or the carpet they walk on, or so I'm told...

Oh, you should come to Toronto when you get the chance. FP would nearly fit right in as they have many signs and television channels in French. Of course they're pretty useless to me.

I was telling my wife(!) on the phone the other night that it's a lot like America here except instead of things being in English and Spanish, they're in English and French.

There are a lot of great pubs and coffee shops in downtown Toronto (where I'm spending all my time) plus the World's Biggest Bookstore (made so only because they sell UK books and American bookstores do not, I firmly believe).

I'm loving Canada!

Princesse Ecossaise said...

In that case I think I'm the caret they walk on!

Yes, I've noticed Americans don't seem to buy/read british books, or perhaps it's that they don't have the chance to because the book stores don't offer it. I wonder why that is? Strange.

And wow! You said wife! That's new! And so cute!

I wish I were a wife...

HINT HINT

:-)

Yeah, they don't sell UK books in America, for the most part I believe. Our HARRY POTTER books are different than yours and I have absolutely no idea why. Is it because they think Americans can't learn popular slang like "bollocks" and whatnot? It's all very cloak and dagger. Just another reason to love Canada, I guess. I'm sure if it were snowing, I'd be loving it a lot less.

BTW, Americans don't read books in general, regardless of where they were written/published. Reading is a very rare thing in a person because it's been replaced by HDTV. People don't want to learn anymore or use their imaginations, I'm convinced. Plus, "reading is hard." Bollocks.
