Charming! Although, there is something inherently funny about Alouette sung with a noticable Scotland accent ... ;)

I though your accent was magnifique.

I've been told by French people that my accent is very good. (It's a pity my grammar's mer*e, though.)

ahhhh merci Teuchter! My grammar is merde too, so is my vocabulary, my accent, my spelling and my fluency..!

HI-LARIOUS.

Seriously Princesse, you should do voice threads all the time. Great story.

Hope FP has a fun visit (regardless of possible specks of dust). You should just tell your mom something like, "Mom, he's a boy, boys are dirty. They're known not to shower for days on end. I think he'll feel more at home if my living space is a beautiful disaster."

Voice threads are grand, such fun. They are also very easy and take two seconds! But they do make me look like a bit of an eejit!

Unfortunatley, Mum ecossaise has been to FP's apartment and seen the immaculate-ness of the place. i told him he shouldn't have cleaned up for her visit, but he didn't listen. :-(

If I had a better mic and/or camera, I would probably try and do some A/V posts rather than just words. I'm nothing fancy when it comes to singing but it would be good to break up the monotony (no pun intended) of my posts. Maybe I'll look into it next year when I can afford new computer equipment.

Ohhh, FP set a precedent by cleaning up for your mom. WHOOPS. Now everything has to be cleaned, which isn't wholly a bad thing really, just kind of an inconvenient one, eh?

If you ever hear me sing that song (hmmmmm. . . .) you will see just how far away from my french heritage I have grown,

:(
